Jordan Airports & Flights
There are many airports in different cities of Jordan. The capital city Amman has two major airports. They are Queen Alia International Airport and Marka International Airport. Aqaba city has an important airport named King Hussein International Airport.
The Queen Alia International Airport has three terminals including one cargo terminal and two passenger terminals. This airport is home to the national flag carrier Royal Jordanian Airlines. Built in 1983 many airlines like Jazeera Airways, Jordan Aviation, Gulf Air and Emirates operate international flights from this airport. Marka International Airport is also offering many facilities for the travelers and Jordan International air cargo is placed in Marka International Airport. King Hussein International Airport is very convenient for travelers from the neighboring countries. Egypt, Israel and Saudi Arabia are within 24 km of this airport.
The airports offer grandeur shopping facilities including duty free shopping and imposing restaurant and bar options for the travelers. There are business centers, Internet Cafes and foreign exchange facilities.
